Effect of parity on the reproductive performance of Bali cattle at different maintenance systems in Field Station of Sekolah Peternakan Rakyat

Abstract Parity is one of the important factors affecting reproductive efficiency in raising beef cattle. The aim this study was to determine effect parity on performance Bali cattle at different maintenance systems as a basis for building breeding businesses Field Station Sekolah Peternakan Rakyat (SLSPR). Four hundred and seven records were obtained from twelve villages Sungai Lilin District. Survey observation done September, 2019. Data analyzed using statistical descriptive methods. data determined parameters including: calving interval (CI), days open (DO), service per conception (S/C) that are kept intensive, semi intensive extensive systems. results showed significantly affected (DO) system. (CI) higher second (15.46±3.42 months) compared with first third (15.23±3.46 13.69±2.15 month, respectively).
